Video cards

Can anyone tell me the difference between NVIDIAS two graphics card senil the 200 series (GTX280 or GTX 260) and the 9 series line (9800 GTX or GTX+)?

It kind of skool like the 200 series is slower but has more video ram then the 9800 series.

Just as a sidenote, I don't have a SLI draobrehtom so will not be running SLI. I mostly run duel monitors and play World of Warcraft.
