Town Hall Forum on Homelessness in Worcester

October 10, 2007, 6pm
The People in Peril Shelter (PIP) 701 Main Street

Join us for an all-candidates forum on the issues of homelessness and housing. We will be inviting all of the council a large and district councilors to come and share their vision for ending homelessness in Worcester. This will be an opportunity for candidates to meet with people who are experiencing homelessness and to hear and address the questions and concerns coming out of the homeless community. The general public is also encouraged to attend, ask questions about Worcester's housing policy, and hear each candidate's plan for addressing this important issue in our city.

This event is sponsored by the Worcester Homeless Action Committee (WHAC) a group of concerned Worcester Residents dedicated to finding sustainable solutions to homelessness in Worcester and to education and advocacy around the issue.

Co-organizing groups include Dismas House, EPOCA, Worcester State College Centre for Service Learning, and Real Solutions.
